About the Contest
The 2021 International Statistical Association (ICSA) Applied Statistics Symposium’s Social Activity Committee is pleased to host a photo contest named “ICSA 2021 Famous Landmarks Photo Contest.” Given that it is a virtual conference, ICSA members and registered ICSA 2021 attendees are welcomed to capture an authentic image of a famous landmark anywhere in the world and submit it to this contest by August 31, 2021.
Each contest entry must be an original photo by the photographer. Multiple entries are permitted, but only one per photographer can win a prize. It should not contain any person or animal in the photo. Selected top entries will be displayed virtually at a live social event for attendees to guess where the photo was taken and what famous landmark it was. We welcome all photography enthusiasts who qualify to submit such a photo featuring the famous landmark of choice for a chance to receive one of the contest prizes.

Instruction
- Photo has to have the highest quality and resolution and JPEG (.jpg) format.
- Photo can be in black/white or color, and it can be vertical or horizontal.
- The maximum file size per phot is 10 megabytes (MB).
- Only two-dimensional work will be accepted.
- Photo must be available to be displayed digitally.
- Subject matter must be appropriate for viewing online. Please respect viewers’ sensitivities and do not submit works containing political statements or other inappropriate images.
- All ICSA Members or ICSA 2021 Attendees are welcome to participate!
- Multiple photo-submissions per photographer are permitted. However, only one entry per photographer can win.
